Goblin Slayer Season 2 Reveals Teaser Trailer And New Studio, To Premiere In 2023

During GA Bunko's live-stream event named GA FES 2023 with Danmachi 10th Anniversary, which was broadcast on AbemaTV, the Goblin Slayer Season 2 anime debuted a new trailer as well as a studio shift. The sequel is being animated by Studio LIDENFILMS, as was confirmed in late January 2021. The premiere is scheduled to take place sometime in 2023.

The cast members, including Gobusure-san, Yuichiro Umehara (Goblin Slayer), Yui Ogura (Priestess), and Nao Toyama (High Elf Archer), were present.

The Goblin Slayer light novel by Kumo Kagyu, illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki, has been available since February 2016 under the light novel imprint GA Bunko from SB Creative. The 16th volume of the series was published in July 2022. The first WHITE FOX anime version of the series ran for 12 episodes from October to December 2018. Goblin Slayer: Goblin's Crown, an original video animation, had a theatrical release and made its debut in February 2020. In July 2020, it was made available as a single Blu-ray and DVD volume.
