A Fantastic Duel LinksTournament Experience Online on the month of August
Back to the Links is a simple tournament to make sure all the duelists at Adilsons feel prepared to overcome whatever new challenges the new Duel Links tournaments will give them.
Event Highlights:
While there were some of the high meta decks like Speedroid and Rokket, there were some other cool decks like Blackwing and Burning Abyss. Such was the duel between Blackwing and Burning Abyss, where Blackwing kept on building back a board after getting their monsters destroyed by the countless army of Burning Abyss monsters.

“There hasn’t been any Duel Links tournament at Adilsons for quite a few months. Seeing the players back in action, with meta decks too, gives hope that Duel Links will no longer be considered as a dead game in the eyes of many.”

It is a rare sight in TCG to see Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon attacking the opponent’s Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon. The Speedroid mirror matches are very violent, and whoever gets to extend the most usually wins the game, lest they feel the wrath of a Dark Hole or something similar.

Personal anecdotes:
“Speedroid has a lot of ways to get to a big boss monster, with other monsters around to rebuild a broken board. Rokkets however are way better at doing the same thing but way stronger. Easier access to synchro and link monsters, and almost each monster has an effect upon being destroyed by whatever means.”

Overall, everyone enjoyed dueling in the tournaments. Each duelist showed their skills in deckbuilding and dueling, and everyone was respectful towards each other, playing fairly.
