Our Story: How It All Began
🎴 The Spark: Community Before “Community”
Adilsons started as a family name, but we took it forward through Yu-Gi-Oh!. Back then, the anime/TCG community was scattered and judged. We created tournaments to bring people together — not just to sell, but to give fans a safe place to belong.
🏪 The Anime Store is Born
We built Mauritius’ first dedicated anime hub — a place to collect, play, and celebrate. The goal was always simple: live your passion without feeling “weird” for it.
💜 The K-Beauty Aha Moment (2024)
A trip to South Korea in 2024 opened our eyes: friends and family requested huge amounts of skincare, and we realized how big the price gap was in Mauritius. If skincare is as essential as daily hygiene, it should be accessible — not a luxury.
Safety before hype: even when demand was high, we avoided risky sourcing. We’re careful with cosmetics and anything near the eyes — trust isn’t negotiable.

We gave chances based on values and coachability — not experience. But high turnover made it difficult to keep multiple kiosks running long-term.

Sometimes transport costs were higher than daily sales. We had to consolidate, focus on quality, and build systems that could scale responsibly.
