Short Recap:

One Piece TCG (Trading Card Game) is a collectible card game based on the popular manga and anime series, One Piece. The game is published by Bandai and is available in multiple languages, including English and Japanese.

In One Piece TCG, players build decks of cards featuring characters and items from the One Piece series. Players then use these decks to battle against each other, using their cards to attack and defend. The goal of the game is to defeat the opponent's crew and become the Pirate King.

During the last tournament Oomar was crowned the new Pirate King with his Leader being Crocodile.

On the 22nd of July 2023, Adilsons is hosting another One Piece TCG tournament in Mauritius. Pirates from across the island came together to find one title; The Pirate King. Akhilesh, our first Pirate King, lost his title to Oomar Hingun, a fierce Pirate ready to defend his title. The battlefield was intense as new pirates joined the quest. New pirates already confirmed their ambition to come and try to rob the ultimate title of ‘Pirate King’. Are you ready to be the next Pirate King?

How will the tournament proceed?

Swiss format, where pirates face other pirates having almost or the same score as them, round by round. A minimum of 4 participants is needed to host a tournament for One Piece, and depending on the number of participants, the number of rounds is as follows:

4 – 5 players: 3 Rounds

6 – 9 players: 4 Rounds

10 or more players: 5 Rounds

Hosted as Best of 1.

The point system for this tournament’s Swiss Format is as follows:

Winning the duel: 3 points for winner

Losing the duel: 0 point for loser

Q: What are the game’s rules and regulations?

A: If you are not too sure about how to get into the game, don’t worry we are here to enlighten you.

Objective: The objective of the game is to reduce your opponent's life points to zero.

Deck Building: Each player constructs a deck of a maximum of 50 before the game begins.

1. Starting the Game: Each player shuffles their deck and draws five cards. The first player does not draw a card on their first turn.
2. Turn Phases: There are four phases to a player's turn: Draw Phase, Main Phase, Battle Phase, and End Phase.
3. Draw Phase: The player draws one card from their deck.
4. Main Phase: During the main phase, the player can play cards from their hand, activate abilities, and use character abilities.
5. Battle Phase: The player can choose to attack their opponent's characters or directly attack their opponent during the battle phase. Each character has an attack value and a defence value.
6. End Phase: The player ends their turn and discards any cards remaining in their hand that exceed their maximum hand size.
7. Character Types: There are three types of characters: Pirate, Marine, and Revolutionary. Each type has their own unique abilities.
8. Card Types: The game includes Character cards, Event cards, and Treasure cards.
9. Victory: The game ends when one player's life points are reduced to zero.

These are the basic rules of the One Piece TCG. There are many additional rules and mechanics that can be added through the use of different card sets and expansions.
