September nears its end and everyone's sights are already fixed on October; packed with events, the coming month heralds the return of Bleach, Spy x Family and My Hero Academia! On the local front, there has never been a better time to be a duelist: dueling tournaments have been organized on every platform- local, remote and online! Cosmaucon is also not far off; with only 2 months left till the event, cosplayers will also start getting busy around this time. Spooktober 2022 isn't just about Halloween, after all! Here's everything you need to know before heading into October season.

1. Yu-Gi-Oh For Everyone!

Following the success of our Fuse Fest this month, Adilsons has organized a Synchro x Xyz event scheduled for the 2nd of October! The rules are the same as for any festival: perform at least one of the event's highlighted summoning mechanic (in this case at least 1 Synchro OR Xyz Summon) and win by any means necessary! With the banlist finalized as recently as last night, the foundations for the event have been laid! All that's left is for you to pick out a deck and head over to Rose Hill next week!

YAL also returns next month, with YAL 2 set for the 9th of October, just 1 week following the Synchro x Xyz Event. The main competitive event in Mauritius, YALs showcase the peak dueling abilities of our local players; it is with deep regrets that we must accompany this announcement with news of a delay in our POTE shipment. Due to unforseen supplier issues, Adilsons hereby announces an indefinite delay in the arrival of this set. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our duelists.

Our Remote Duel Yu-Gi-Oh Adilsons League will also be underway soon! Starting October the 8th, this 6-month long series is our latest venture to facilitate dueling among all spheres of the community, unrestricted by any venue constraints! This winner of this series will also be granted entry to the Adilsons 2023 Grand Championships, with other prizes going to the Top 5 participants along with the winners of each Tournament Week! Do note that our King of Games (Master Duel) Tournament has been temporarily delayed to accomodate the other events. A new date shall be announced shortly!

3. Mauritius Got Talent!

Our focus this week is on Ethan Liam Mezir, the artist behind the Instagram account Neromanga! Talented at both art and AMV, Ethan lets his work do all the talking, leaving only the following message in his introduction: "One piece is the best anime/manga... no debate... I like noodles."
