As Adilsons prepares to enter the second half of August, several events of note come to a close, paving the way for a season of excitement and much competition!

1. Grand Championships and Nationals Confirmed!

That's right, duelists! The ultimate culmination of dueling skills and the pinnacle of yugioh showdowns is at hand! We are pleased to annouce that Nationals have been confirmed for the 21st of August, and the Grand Championships are to be held on the 28th of August. Please expect more news to follow as the events grow nearer: for now, we can only confirm the location of the Nationals to be at Rose Hill, near Autostar!

Please note that Adilsons will resume our Master Duel Tournaments from September the 17th. More information will be communicated in the days to come. You may also contact us on social media for any tournament-related queries.


2. Vagabond Event Concludes!

Adilsons would like to thank all the duelists who participated in our Win-a-mat and Vagabond events held side-by-side at Caudan last week!

We are pleased to annouce Laurent Wong Kee Miow as the winner of the mat tournament!

On the same note, once again, we're happy to announce that our Vagabond event was a massive success, with only 3 challengers managing to defeat the vagabond across 26 duels! Do you think you have what it takes to knock the red-capped master of havoc from his throne? Keep an eye out for more news, because you never know when he'll make a comeback!


3. International Anime News

The 2nd week of August has brought forth several headlines of note in the world of anime, as follows:

•Psycho-Pass movie Providence announced as part of 10th anniversary celebrations!

•Avatar: Generations, a new open-world RPG based on the show, launches this month!

•Haikyuu 2-part movie finale announced, as countdown ends! It will cover the Nekoma vs Karasuno arc.

•ABEMA TV livestream reveals trailer for the Blue Lock anime! Premiere date set for October the 8th!

•Chainsaw Man becomes the first manga to cross 1 million reads on Manga Plus!


4. Mauritius Got Talent!

Our weekly talent hunt has lead our gaze to land on Matthieu D Felix!

Drawing for as long as he can remember, Matt tells us that he continues to experiment on different media and techniques "to become more fulfilled and complete as an artist". Wholly dedicated to honing his skills to their prime, Matt dabbles in many forms of art, including but not limited to mural paintings, oil paintings, crafting and much more. Traditional drawings, however, remain his favorite style of art. His works revolve around an anime/manga style of art and he enjoys making fanart of anime he watches in a style of his own discovery!

5. FAQ of the Week!

Will there be another event such as the one at Caudan?
Yes, definitely. More organizers will pop up and we will give our support to anyone to make it happen. We expect that by end of year, there will be some major event and we will keep you updated as usual. However, till date, there is no official announcement for upcoming events.

Can I try on the clothing at your shop?
Yes, apart from cosplay, you may try our shirts, hoodies and cloaks.

Will there be another giveaway in the future?
We do wish that our customers get more opportunities to be involved with our shop even by means like our giveaways and so far, it has been working quite effectively so yes, hopefully in the future we can organize more giveaways. Stay tune, there should be a giveaway about the One-piece movie red soon.

Will you bring katana umbrellas?
