As we venture into the latter half of August, Adilsons nears the most important dueling event of the year- the Adilsons Grand Championships; an occasion which brings together the best duelists in the country and forces them to clash for the title of the Best Duelist of 2022! Brace yourselves, readers: the next 2 weeks will bring forth huge developments!

1. Nationals & Grand Championships! Non-Stop Dueling!

We've been sending weekly updates on both events for almost a month now, and the time is finally upon us! Tomorrow, the 21st of August heralds the day of the Nationals! As you can see above, we're going ALL OUT with the prizes this time, meaning 3 duelists will return home loaded with booster packs and exclusive Lost Arts worth up to $30 on their own!!! For those who can't attend the event in person, be sure to check out our YouTube page for all the duels, commentated by our very own Shafeeq!

3. Mauritius Got Talent!

This week, our talent search landed us on Nicola Gaiser's Twitch channel! Boasting the unique distinction of a "Gamer Artist", Nicola's multidisciplinary approach to honing her talent makes her a prime candidate for this segment! Here's what she has to say about herself:
"Hello! My name is Nicola and I am Game Artist in Mauritius! I have been drawing for most of my life and had the amazing chance to make my passion my profession. Besides my job I create visual novels, concept art and fanarts (mostly of the anime or game I’m obsessed with at the moment) to share my passion with the world!"

4. FAQ of the Week

1- Are you guys searching for workers?
Yes. We have two available positions
Part time Shop Assistant who has strong knowledge in anime, well an otaku/weeb, who is available from 11am to 3pm Monday to Saturday.
Delivery Agent who has own motorcycle who will do delivery on agreed frequency, probably each Saturday/Sunday or twice per week depending on volume of orders.

2- Are you guys bringing non- anime merch?
Yes, we plan on bringing them as we want to expand our products variety. We already have some BTS merchs, a long list of Marvel/DC and games have been just added on our website which are all licensed products https://adilsons.mu/collections/licensed-products

3- Do you plan on opening another shop other than in Port Louis?
Yes, but not in the short term. We need to solidify our current offerings before expanding. Since opening the new shop, we have not been able to provide delivery services before we lack staff. We would like to sort out the existing issues, have a solid base and then shift to the next project like a new retail outlet. However, it is something which is in our pipeline.
