As Adilsons transitions into the last quarter of 2022, we slow the pace to accomodate some of our biggest arrivals of the year. As both the Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh TCG communities hold their breaths for massive new releases, the wider anime community also awaits the arrival of new amazing merch! The prospects are high for September, and we'll be sure to keep you posted on any changes as they happen! Here's what's happening his week:

1. Nationals & Grand Championships Over!

The two major Adilsons dueling tournaments are over, and the winners have been crowned! Earning their prestige as the best duelists of the year, these are the winners of the two tournaments:

•NATIONALS: Shafeeq Nabeebaccus
•GRAND CHAMPIONSHIPS: Jason Tse

Congratulations duelists! You have proven yourselves as the masters of the game here in Mauritius! As we continue to post the duel commentaries (by Shafeeq himself!) on our YouTube channel, our viewers will be able to witness firsthand the games that lead these champions to claim their thrones! Adilsons wishes these two the best of fortune in the year to come and awaits to see how they adapt to the upcoming Spright & Tearlaments format, where better skill and bigger budgets are equally game-determining!

3. Mauritius Got Talent!

In the limelight this week is Valery Jaulimsing!

Young and talented, Valery's work paints the prospects of Mauritian talent with bright colors! 21-year old Valery is passionate about painting and has exercised her artistic talent since childhood, currently living her dream as a practicing artist! Her brilliant work is on full display on her Facebook page (Valery's Art Gallery) and she asks that you pay her page a visit and see her talent in action! What impressed us most was the sheer diversity to her works: paintings, custom bookmarks & notebooks along with wall murals- no field of art is unexplored by Valery! Eager to put the colors of her brush at your disposal, she accepts commissioned work and delivers amazing results; just look at some of her work:
