September has served as a pivotal period in the Adilsons 2021-2023 dueling period, marking the end of the 2021-2022 season, and now, piloting the next season of YALs just this week. Littered between these events are smaller-scale casual events, with more planned for the near future as well! This transition has seamlessly occurred in tandem with several new releases (POTE & TAMA), which are now available in shop for our duelists to update their cardboard arsenal! All this and more in this week's edition!

1. YAL Back in Session! New Season; New Beginnings!

Held just today, the new YAL (2022-2023) season kicked off at our much-beloved original venue at Harris Street, to the immense pleasure of the community! Eighteen participants entered the event, registering themselves under five fresh teams, all lead by their own captains. As is the norm, 5 rounds of swiss were held, until the scoreboard showed us the undeniable winner of the first YAL this season: Didier Luidialam! Diverse as the representation was this time, projections for the future show an inclination towards the two established meta threats: Tearlaments and Spright! With more HERO players joining the fold, this season is shaping up to be quite interesting, especially under the context of multiple cheap reprints being injected into circulation through the mega tins!

Uncertain as the future is, the prospects look bright for some players from the very beginning; here's the scoreboards for this event:

3. Mauritus Got Talent!

Our talent hunt this week brings us to admire the art of Saahil Jh! Better known by his name "Errings Art" on Facebook and Instagram, Saahil's IG is a brilliant showcase of his mastery with a brush. He introduces himself as follows:

"Hello! I'm Saahil, 18 yrs young and I'm on the path on becoming an artist. I make mostly anime drawings with acrylic and I also do some mural art and glass paintings. Drawing and painting has been my hobby for a very long time and I hope to cherish this passion of mine to make a successful living out of it. And I hope that I can achieve my dream which is creating my own manga!"

We always have the size guide on the website. Do allow 1-3 cm difference and it’s better that the cosplay is larger than smaller.

Ques 3- can you guys bring more figurines of our choice?

Ques 4-Where will Yu-Gi-Oh tournaments occurs and are the tournaments at the new shop?
Ans- we will start hosting yugioh tournaments Harris Street in Port Louis. The next tournament is on the 18th September.
