February isn't even halfway done and yet it's been an eventful month on many fronts: YALs packed into almost every weekend, policy changes at Adilsons, product arrivals, Twitch streams every weekend- all topped off with a banlist unlike any other in the last 9 years. This week, we're winding down the tension as our duelists start to adapt to these changes. With more events planned on the horizon and the banlist coming into effect in 2 days, one could say that this week is merely the calm before the aptly named storm that is Photon Hypernova!

YAL 6 Results Are Out! Taking the crown this week is a familiar face: Didier Luidialam! He's followed closely by two other well-recognized names: Aman Newraj and William Dredenia! We can't wait to see how the local meta evolves in the weeks to come; how will the control-oriented Adilsons meta handle the onslaught of Kashtira? Will the level 7 Psychics dominate or will we see a certain level 4 Dragon-type flip monster make a resurgence in our tournaments?!

As Photon Hypernova makes its debut amidst the shockwaves of a radical banlist the likes of which we haven't seen since the Dragon Ruler format, the secondary market is in a tumultuous state. As is the general rule with core sets, most cards start off affordable and eventually skyrocket in price as their demand rises; complicating this formula is the February banlist. With Kashtira being the best contender for the next top deck, the new wave of support released in PHHY is going to be in most people's carts soon enough.
