Event Highlights

The Battle Nexus introduces two high-stake challenges: the Speed Strike and Battle Bash. Speed Strike welcomes duelists to the speed duel arena, battling for the most coveted prize - the Ultimate rare Dark Magician Card. On the same day, the Tekken Battle Bash offers an epic PS5 showdown where you can flex your fighting prowess.

What are LARTs?

The Lost Art Promotion is a promotion in the TCG in which the Asian artworks of cards are distributed, with a different card being released each month.

Cards are officially announced monthly on Konami's social media pages during the week the cards are set to be released.
Loaner decks will be available, either on spot or through announcement on our social media or whatsapp TCG NEWS/Speed duel group.

How to play Speed Duel?

Speed Duel is a specialised format of the YU-Gi-OH! Official card game and YGO TCG, offering a fast- paced and simplified gameplay experience, much like the early Duel Links days. The format gained popularity from the latter actually. In the YGO VRAINS anime, Speed Duels are prominently featured, especially in the data storm of LINK VRAINS.

Speed Duel exclusive Rules

Speed Duel follows the stardard Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG rules, with the following differences

Each player begins the Duel with 4000 LP.
Each player begins the Duel with 4 cards in the starting hand.
Main Deck size is 20 to 30 cards.
Extra Deck size is up to 6 cards
Side Deck size is up to 6 cards
Each player can use up to 1 Skill Card
Each player has 3 Main Monster Zones, 3 Spell & Trap Zones, 1 Field Zone and a Graveyard.
There are no Extra Monster Zones.
There is no Main Phase 2.
