No Extra Deck? No Problem! EX-ZERO Festival on 27th of May 2023!
The EX-ZERO Festival is about only using the Main Deck, and the Extra Deck is completely unallowed, so no Fusions, no Synchros, no XYZs, and no Links.
The Additional Forbidden & Limited List has been given down below (check title to see if banned, limited or semi-limited). This banlist is merged with the current Standard Forbidden & Limited List we have in Master Duel, meaning you also must consider the cards in the Standard Forbidden & Limited List.

How tournaments proceed:
Swiss format, where duelists face other duelists having almost or the same score as them, round by round. A minimum of 4 participants is needed to host a tournament for MD, and depending on the number of participants, the number of rounds is as follows:
4 – 5 players: 3 Rounds
6 – 9 players: 4 Rounds
10 or more players: 5 Rounds
Hosted as Best of 1, that is, only 1 duel per round for each participant.
The point system for this tournament’s Swiss Format is as follows:
Winning the duel: 3 points for winner
Losing the duel: 0 point for loser
Draw: 1 point for each participant in the duel
Each tournament pairings will be posted on the WhatsApp group “Adilsons MD Group”. To join the group, contact us at +230 5904 6289. It is compulsory to be in the WhatsApp group at the time of tournaments for the benefit of all participants to understand who they are truly going against, making sure they are not wasting any time by dueling someone they were not supposed to.

How to participate:
When it comes to participation of Master Duel tournaments, anyone in Mauritius is allowed to play, if they have a legal deck for the events. They also need to be able to pay the entry fee, as well as be available to collect their rewards if they receive any.
Payment can be made at the shop, at Trianon, at a tournament, or via Juice. As for the rewards, they are usually collected at the shop, and, if sent a request to the tournament hosts, at Trianon too.
A good internet connection is needed, because anyone who gets disconnected during a duel is considered as the player disconnected losing the duel.
To participate, there are Google Forms sent on the WhatsApp group chat “Adilsons MD Group” before each tournament to fill in. Participants need to mention their names and Cossy ID.

Cossy ID
A Cossy ID is a series of numbers that is used to identify participants for YuGiOh tournaments. Once a Cossy ID is assigned to a participant, the same Cossy ID is used by that same participant for all other tournaments

Instructions are given on how to obtain a Cossy ID. Simply create an account, then generate a Cossy ID for that account (Click on "I do not own a Card Game ID")

The Lost Art Promotion is a promotion in the TCG in which the Asian artworks of cards are distributed. Exclusive at OTS Stores only, LARTs are given as rewards for participation in certain events.

This format is exclusively for decks without Extra Deck, so make sure to get some powerful cards ready in your Main Deck!
And not to worry, the already powerful extra-deck-less decks from regular events have been toned down for this event, as well as unfair strategies that ruin the spirit of the casual games! There are certain decks you can try like Monarch, Kozmo, and Toon. You can also try more recognised decks if you have the right cards, like the Blue-Eyes White Dragon deck and the Dark Magician deck!
