As we eagerly approach the Adilsons OTS Championship on Saturday, 2nd March, we are pleased to announce the criteria for our most prestigious sponsorship opportunity to date. This sponsorship is a reflection of our commitment to the Yu-Gi-Oh! community and our dedication to supporting the dreams and ambitions of its most distinguished members.

Primary Eligibility Criterion:

OTS Championship Performance: To be considered for sponsorship, duelists must be among the top performers in the Adilsons OTS Championship and receive a direct invitation from Konami. This achievement is the fundamental qualifier for our sponsorship consideration.

Further Internal Criteria at Adilsons:

In addition to the primary criterion set forth by Konami, Adilsons has established internal criteria to determine who will receive our full sponsorship. These criteria are designed to recognize and reward individuals who not only excel in competition but also embody the values and spirit of the Adilsons community.

Proven Champions: A history of top finishes and victories in Adilsons tournaments, such as the Monthly YAL, Nationals, or OTS Finesse, demonstrating consistent competitive excellence.

Community Leaders: Active engagement within our store and online communities, promoting a positive and healthy gaming environment through respect, passion, and integrity.

Adilsons Impact: Significant contributions to the enrichment of the Adilsons and the wider Yu-Gi-Oh! community, exemplifying our brand's values of commitment, camaraderie, and fair play.

Active Regular Customer: Continuous support for our community through regular purchase with TCG products at Adilsons, highlighting a commitment to the community's growth and sustainability.

Annual Sponsorship Commitment:

Adilsons is dedicated to sponsoring one individual per year, contingent upon our financial capabilities. We believe in supporting our champions as they strive for greater achievements in the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe. Should there be any year when we are unable to provide sponsorship, we will communicate this decision transparently and in advance.

Final Selection:

The combination of primary eligibility and our internal criteria will guide us in selecting a duelist who not only dominates the competition but also serves as a pillar of the Adilsons community. This holistic approach ensures that our sponsorship is awarded to a duelist who truly represents the best of what our community stands for.

Timeline and Sponsorship Details:

The sponsored individual will be announced within a few months prior to the world cup qualifiers, ensuring a meticulous selection process by Adilsons shareholders. The sponsorship will cover air ticket, accommodation, entry fees, and a daily stipend for the WCQ, alongside preparatory support from Adilsons to maximize the champion's potential for success which may include a budget to source cards to improve their deck.

Ambassador Expectations:

Upon accepting the sponsorship, the selected individual will also agree to become an Adilsons Ambassador. This prestigious role is integral to our community's growth and embodies our shared values of excellence, camaraderie, and integrity. As an Adilsons Ambassador, you will be expected to:

1.           Represent Adilsons: Serve as a positive representative of the Adilsons brand at events, in the Yu-Gi-Oh! community, and across social media platforms.
2.           Community Engagement: Actively engage with the community both online and in-store, participating in events, sharing knowledge, and promoting a positive gaming environment.
3.           Content Creation: Collaborate with Adilsons in creating engaging content that could range from tournament experiences, strategy guides, to community highlights. This content will be featured on Adilsons' platforms, showcasing your insights and experiences.
4.           Feedback and Development: Provide valuable feedback on Adilsons' products and community initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement and development of our community offerings.
5.           Mentorship: Play a mentorship role within the community, guiding and supporting emerging duelists, fostering the next generation of champions.

Terms and Conditions for the Adilsons OTS Championship Sponsorship

1. Sponsorship Eligibility: This sponsorship is offered to individuals based on specific eligibility criteria established by Adilsons, including but not limited to performance in tournaments, community engagement, and overall contribution to the Yu-Gi-Oh! community. Eligibility is determined at the sole discretion of Adilsons.
2. Sponsorship Term: The sponsorship term will be specified upon awarding and may vary based on the nature of the sponsorship. Adilsons reserves the right to modify the term or conditions at any time with or without notice.
3. Scope of Sponsorship: Adilsons agrees to provide support as outlined in the sponsorship agreement, which may include financial assistance, products, services, or other forms of support. Specific details will be provided to each sponsored individual.
4. Responsibilities of Sponsored Individuals: Sponsored individuals are expected to act as ambassadors for the Adilsons brand, demonstrating professionalism, sportsmanship, and positive community engagement. Additional responsibilities may be outlined in individual sponsorship agreements.
5. Intellectual Property Rights: Any content, materials, or intellectual property created as part of the sponsorship activities shall remain the property of Adilsons, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
6. Confidentiality: Sponsored individuals must agree to keep confidential any non-public information related to Adilsons, the sponsorship program, or any proprietary information disclosed during the term of the sponsorship.
7. Modification and Termination: Adilsons reserves the right to modify the terms of the sponsorship or terminate the sponsorship program at any time without notice and without providing any reasons. Sponsored individuals will be notified of any such changes as soon as practicable.
8. Cancellation: Adilsons retains the right to cancel the sponsorship program at any point, without giving any reasons or prior notice. In the event of cancellation, Adilsons will not be liable for any expectations or promises made prior to the cancellation.
9. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any disputes arising from or related to the terms of the sponsorship shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
10. Acceptance: Acceptance of the sponsorship constitutes agreement to these terms and conditions, as may be amended from time to time by Adilsons. It is the responsibility of the sponsored individual to stay informed about any changes to these terms.
