Togetic Community Day - An Awesome Meetup, Gotta Catch ‘em All!

The Community Day in Pokemon Go is a feature that happens once every month where a specific Pokemon would spawn around all over the map from 2pm to 5pm. This gives trainers a chance to farm and accumulate as many candies as possible for the evolution and powering up of the said pokemon and look for as many shinies as possible or perfect IVs versions of the said pokemon, commonly known as Hundos!

It’s also very important to note that this event was a hundred percent free!

We had a total of 13 participants on that awesome day! Of course we made sure to host two raids so as to put our Daily Raid Passes to good use and managed to hunt two Hundos!

“I was expecting only about 8 people on that day, but somehow the small residual ashes of that community’s soul began to flare back to life. It’s only a matter of time now for us to rise back from our ashes just like a Phoenix. Sure it might not be as big as it was before, but now people shall not worry about not having a group of players to play their favorite game with. This is going to be a heck of a ride!”

Unique features

Our monthly meetups usually revolve around maximum farming and our classic 2 raids! This would involve our group of Pokemon trainers to challenge a Raid boss (which is basically a very powerful pokemon in a Gym) and take it down so that everyone gets a chance to catch it!

Memorable moments:

Taking down the two raid bosses was quite memorable since it was very intense for new players to experience the heat of battle along with the more experienced ones. They got to experience the difference in power which actually made them want to strive for greater heights and eventually reach the level of the greater trainers!

But by far, the most enjoyable moment of the entire day was when we all managed to catch our first and second Hundos. We got a call informing us about its location and we all rushed towards it in order to catch it as fast as possible!

To immortalize the moment, we made sure to capture our happiness and joy in a very beautiful picture taken by one of our most insightful veterans, Tommy!

This has to be by far one of the most important things that needs to be highlighted! The community contains both new players and very knowledgeable veterans. And surprisingly, the veterans are more than happy to help and teach the newer players how to catch pokemons better and how to fight raid bosses with a more strategic approach towards the game!

To conclude, this was an extremely joyful and welcoming experience for everyone! It was more than enjoyable, considering that everyone managed to get two perfect IVs pokemons and spent a heartwarming day playing a game they love with an active, fun, insightful and welcoming group of people!
