Black Clover Film To Release On 31 March 2023, On Netflix
Black Clover's forthcoming film, "Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King," is expected to be released on Netflix and in Japanese theaters on March 31, 2023, according to Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 46 leaks.
A major image from the film, showing Asta clutching a sword and getting ready to fight, has also been leaked along with the release date.
It is unusual for an anime movie to have its international premiere on the same day that Japan does, so the Netflix release of the movie is another pleasant surprise for fans. International anime viewers are used to having to wait several months before an anime movie is released in a nation other than Japan. Some of the most recent anime movies that were released outside of Japan three to four months after the Japanese premiere include One Piece film Red and Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
Little is known about the plot's specifics or whether the film will be an original story or an adaptation of a manga series. Given that the manga arc where the anime series ended off includes more than 70 chapters and cannot be covered in a 1.5 to 2-hour film, Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King is most likely not canon.
There will be a new character, according to the leaks. Conrad, the previous Wizard King, will have a significant role in the future movie. Yuki Tabata's illustration of Wizard King Conrad has also been revealed. Conrad, the previous Wizard King, was adored by the citizens of Clover Kingdom. Conrad will be voiced by Toshihiko Seki, who is most known for portraying Umino from Naruto and Muzan from Demon Slayer.
