Bungo Stray Dogs Director Shares New Year's Illustration
The Bungo Stray Dogs filmmaker Takuya Igarashi tweeted a festive illustration to wish his Twitter followers a happy new year. The director expressed excitement for the upcoming year. Igarashi, the director of "Bungo Stray Dogs," is described as a "human failure" in his Twitter account. I'm eager to collaborate with you.
In January, the anime's fourth season debuts. Takuya Igarashi is directing the sequel, with Studio Bones providing the animation. The series' composition is being overseen by screenwriter Youjo Enokido. Igarashi, who also directed the film Dead Apple, collaborated with Enokido on earlier seasons. Character designs are being done by Nobuhiro Arai, who is also listed as the main animator.
Based on a Kafka Asagiri manga with Harukawa35 artwork, Bungo Stray Dogs is a children's book. Young Ace magazine began serializing in 2012, with Yen Press owning the English license. The Kadokawa Beans Bunko magazine is presently publishing a prequel manga with illustrations by Sango Harukawa.
A second season of the anime adaptation debuted in the fall of the same year after the first season's debut in the spring. In 2019, Season 3 premiered. The Bungo Stray Dogs franchise also includes the 2017 OVA Bungo Stray Dogs: Walking Alone and the film Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple. Earlier this year, Storm Bringer, a stage play, was announced. A live-action film is also in the works.
