2023 is a pivotal time for Adilsons; since our establishment in 2002, every year has been marked with important milestones on our journey to creating a brand synonymous with anime & entertainment in Mauritius. It is undeniable that our brand's has grown almost exponential in the last 5 years, mandating that our community policies evolve to match the growth in our community. Record of Ragnarok S2: Worth a Watch?
Notorious as Netflix is for its poor adaptations, Record of Ragnarok’s anime is largely a panel-for-panel replica of its source material. Despite its faithfulness to the manga, the anime falls short of excellence for a multitude of reasons you’d never expect from a studio that worked on Hellsing and Tokyo Mew Mew New. Someone clearly forgot to tell the animation staff that motion blur exists.

A multitude of developments both locally and in the anime universe have etched 2022 into the fabric of history as one of the most impactful years since 2017. Perhaps most notably, Adilsons' venture into newer territories such as the One Piece TCG and hosting a wider collection of anime merchandise has solidified our place at the forefront of the local anime sphere and better enabled us to provide our patrons with an increasingly wholesome and holistic anime experience.
