Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Reveals July 2023 Premiere Date, Character Introduction PV
The release date for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 was announced as July 2023. The series is animated by Studio MAPPA. Additionally, a little film showcasing the trailer's designs was released.
The information was revealed during a panel discussion at Jump Festa '23 that the voice cast attended. The event was postponed by Takahiro Sakurai, but Junya Enoki, Nobunaga Shimazaki, and Yuichi Nakamura still showed up. Geto, Yuji, Mahito, and Gojo are the four voices, respectively. The creator Gege Akutami claimed that the story should wrap up in about a year, but he did not specify whether he meant the manga or the current arc.
Jujutsu Kaisen's second season will consist of two consecutive arcs, including the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death and Shibuya Incident, as was previously revealed. The first season of the TV anime and the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 were both animated by Studio MAPPA. The movie's events occur before the main series. The Satoru Gojo and Geto relationship is the central theme of the Shibuya Incident arc.
