
Kaguya Sama: Love Is War Manga Ends After 7.5 Year Long Serialization
Kaguya-sama, a romantic comedy by Aka Akasaka After a seven and a half year run in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump since its debut in the publishing company's Miracle Jump, the Love is War manga came to an end on Wednesday. It was already known that the manga would have 14 chapters and end in June of this year.
To commemorate the series' conclusion, the magazine's cover depicts Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya. Shirogane is in Japan to surprise people at the graduation ceremony, but Kaguya-sama is a cut above...?, according to the official website's introduction to the final chapter. The issue also includes the final chapter of the spin-off novel Kaguya-sama wo Kataritai, images of Enako cosplaying as Kaguya, and an interview between the cosplayer and manga author Aka Akasaka. It comes with a leaflet titled Shuchiin-gakuen Renai Zuno-sen Gakubu Sotsugyo Shiken Shosasshi, which translates to graduation exams for the academy's department of wars of romantic love. This leaflet is one of two bonuses that come with the set.
The Kaguya-sama Love Is War manga by Aka Akasaka first appeared in Shueisha's monthly publication Miracle Jump in May 2015; however, in March 2016, it was transferred to Weekly Young Jump. There will be 28 volumes total. A-1 Pictures created a TV anime series with three seasons based on the manga. Seasons 1 and 2 of the television series broadcast from January to March 2019, April to June 2021, and April to June 2022, respectively. Additionally, it was adapted into a number of live-action movies. A theatrical release and a TV broadcast are planned for the upcoming anime Kaguya-sama: Love is War First - Kiss Never Ends.
