Arencia Fresh Green Rice Mochi Cleanser 120g Packaging Renewal: Old vs New Box
The plain pale-green carton is the earlier presentation; the photographic green carton is the newer presentation of Arencia Fresh Green Rice Mochi Cleanser 120g. Both have been present at Adilsons Beauty.
In the Adilsons photographs below, left is newer; right is earlier. YesStyle’s exact-product gallery shows the plain carton under “As-is” and the illustrated carton under “To-be.” The same notice says the formula remains unchanged through this packaging update.

The comparison that establishes the direction
The Fresh Green Rice Mochi Cleanser gallery on YesStyle begins with an “ARENCIA Official Store” panel stating that this sales channel is operated directly by Arencia. The very next image supplies the packaging comparison. Together these are an Arencia official-store presentation on the exact product listing, rather than an inference from which box looks more modern.

The illustrated carton’s jar image and circular callouts match the distinctive layout in the Adilsons photograph. The earlier carton belongs to the same plain pale-green presentation shown in the notice; text placement can differ between the panels visible in each photograph.
How to recognise the two presentations
| Presentation | Visible features |
|---|---|
| Earlier — right | Plain pale-green carton; dark Arencia logo and lettering; minimal photographic artwork on the pictured panels. |
| Newer — left | Green cleanser-texture photograph with a white logo on one panel; an open-jar photograph and circular callouts on another. |

What a buyer photograph adds
A photo in the same YesStyle listing’s buyer gallery shows the illustrated green carton with the jar and two circular feature callouts. It corroborates that this design appears in a buyer submission; it does not date the redesign or show the earlier carton.

Does the new box mean a new formula?
According to the notice displayed by YesStyle, the formula is unchanged for the pictured packaging update. This is the notice’s stated scope—not a laboratory comparison of the two Adilsons units, and not a promise that every past or future product version has the same formulation.
The notice does not state an effective changeover date. It therefore establishes which design follows which, but not when a particular box was manufactured or when every retailer switched designs. The carton artwork alone is not a manufacture or expiry date.
What the packaging evidence settles
This is a documented box-design transition for the pictured 120g product. It explains why both cartons can appear in circulation. The notice does not give a changeover date. An individual item's origin or condition calls for a separate check.

How should you use the cleanser?
Fresh Green Rice Mochi Cleanser is a rinse-off facial cleanser with a dense texture that lathers with water. Arencia's US directions say to take a small amount, lather it with water, gently massage the face, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry. The Korean 120g page similarly says to make sufficient foam, massage gently over the face and neck, and rinse with lukewarm water. The US page also suggests a thicker wash-off mask once or twice weekly as optional special care; its routine cleanser directions do not require that mask step. Follow the directions on your own pack if they differ.
Will it suit your skin?
Consider your skin's present condition and what else you already use. If a simple, tolerated cleansing and moisturising routine is working, you need not add an extra exfoliating step. If skin is already irritated, keep the routine gentle and support its comfort before introducing another treatment. When ready, add only a product with a clear purpose and review how your skin responds; frequency and the rest of your routine matter more than an assumed universal schedule.
This cleanser may not suit everyone. In a one-star YesStyle review dated 22 May 2025, a person describing dry skin reported dryness, redness, irritation, small bumps and eye stinging after one use. Another one-star review dated 10 July 2026 reported dryness, redness and many small rashes. These are individual experiences, and neither review identifies which carton the person received. The brand's Korean ingredient list includes fragrance and sweet-almond seed cake; someone sensitive to an ingredient, already-irritated skin, rubbing too firmly, or overlap with other exfoliating products could be relevant considerations. None is a proven explanation for either report. The American Academy of Dermatology advises assessing existing products, avoiding aggressive exfoliation and being gentle.
If use brings burning, rash, swelling or worsening irritation, stop using it and gently rinse it off if it is still on the skin. Seek medical advice for severe, persistent or worsening symptoms; sudden breathing difficulty or mouth or tongue swelling calls for urgent medical help. The AAD's reaction guidance also advises stopping a product after a reaction. A shop consultation does not replace medical care.
