Hard Water Interaction: Mauritius tap water hardness leaves a calcium stearate (soap scum) film on the skin after washing with traditional alkaline cleansers. This product is formulated at a pH of ~5.5, which actively counteracts this mineral binding, preventing the tight, itchy feeling associated with hard water residue.

AC Environment Interaction: Because this formula relies heavily on Hyaluronic Acid, it can be impacted by vapor pressure deficits in strong air-conditioning. If you cleanse your face and immediately sit in an AC environment without following up with a moisturizer, the HA may draw water from your deeper skin layers to the surface. Always seal with a moisturizer quickly.
