Best for: anyone with a chronically shiny, congested nose or visible sebaceous filaments who wants a gentler alternative to a pore strip or a daily leave-on BHA toner.

Keep in mind: no active concentrations are disclosed; the herbal scent from tea tree/eucalyptus/cypress waters means this deserves a real patch test despite technically being "fragrance-free"; it manages sebaceous filaments rather than eliminating them for good.

Assessment: Consult Oncologist. While free of retinoids and disclosed fragrance, this formula's multiple essential-oil-derived botanical waters (tea tree, eucalyptus, cypress) and chemical exfoliant actives are a combination worth flagging before use during active cancer treatment, when skin is often more reactive than usual.

Particulate adhesion: since this product is meant to be wiped away rather than left as a film, it doesn't create the tacky surface that attracts PM2.5 particulate during Mauritius's July-November sugar cane burning season — but freshly-treated, slightly more open pores may be more receptive to settling dust in the hours right after use, so an evening application is preferable to using it right before a dusty outdoor day.

Hard water interaction: using this treatment after cleansing, before your regular toner, helps counteract the calcium-stearate residue hard tap water can leave behind in some Mauritius regions, rather than adding to it.
